In February 2022, the hospital opened a new facility named the KPJ Medical Centre as part of its strategic plan to transform health care over the next 10 years. Furthermore, on the seventh floor of the KPJ Medical Centre lies the Shri Abhey Oswal Children’s Cancer Support Clinic, which was launched in April 2022. The children’s cancer clinic has the capacity to treat 100 children a month, incorporating the latest advances in the fight against cancer. It also caters to children suffering from non-cancerous blood diseases like anaemia. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, the clinic provides ambulatory chemotherapy treatment services. It comprises an inpatient ward with a day oncology unit, an outpatient clinic area, a dedicated oncology pharmacy, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
